We are seeking an analytical, agile, and forward-thinking GTM Strategy, AI Growth & Consulting Intern. This is a highly cross-functional role that goes far beyond standard administrative work. Sitting at the intersection of AI Growth mechanics, enterprise sales hunting, content enablement & strategic advisory, you will play a direct role in structuring our market presence, using advanced LLMs to fuel outreach, and exploring new growth vectors. Additionally, you will receive direct executive mentorship & support in our consulting division. You will gain exposure to high-level & strategic projects.

Tech Stack: (Familiarity or Willingness to Learn):

  • CRM: HubSpot, or Salesforce
  • Generative AI Models: Gemini, Claude, or any proprietary AI engines
  • Collaboration & Productivity: Slack, Zoom, G-Suite, MS-Office (Google Workspace)
  • Data Tools: MS Office (Advanced Excel), Nooks, Apollo, Linkedin Sales Navigator & specialized data governance tools

Core Pillars of Responsibility:

  1. Outbound Sales & Account Hunting
  2. Cold Calling Execution: Pick up the phone & learn the art of cold outreach. You will execute targeted cold-calling campaigns to hunt for new opportunities and engage senior compliance & risk decision-makers
  3. Pipeline Generation: Learn to navigate enterprise gatekeepers, handle initial objections and pitch Sigma360’s value proposition to successfully book platform introductions
  4. Lead Prospecting: Actively speak to target leads or (ICP) ideal customer profiles to clean up leads, as well as deliver value added messaging to drive home more in-depth conversation.

  5. Consulting Support & Advisory

  6. Consulting Delivery Support: Work alongside our consulting & advisory leaders to support key consulting engagements, helping prepare strategic client materials, compliance performance analyses & project tracking deliverables.

  7. Advisory Client Research: Conduct targeted risk and financial crime regulatory research to assist in building AI custom solutions to cater to enterprise clients

  8. Executive Shadowing: Sit in on strategic internal & client-facing preparation syncs to learn how enterprise-level compliance consulting operations are structured & executed.

  9. AI Operations, Workflows & Tech Research

  10. Emerging Tech Research: Actively scout, evaluate and present recommendations on new software tools and AI automation platforms that can maximize our commercial team’s efficiency.

  11. Workflow Engineering: Map out, build, and test automated internal workflows across HubSpot & tech stack to seamlessly route inbound leads or build out data on spreadsheets. (Sales + Marketing Cross functional)

  12. AI Model Data Preparation: Assist in organizing, structuring and labeling complex financial datasets to help train, and optimize agents using tools like Gemini and Claude.

  13. Advanced GTM Research, Competitor Analysis & Content Enablement

  14. Market Optimization: Research and propose new GTM strategies, identifying untapped industry verticals, market niches, and high-value target accounts.

  15. Competitor Intel: Conduct deep-dive competitor & sentiment analysis on legacy players and emerging platforms in the risk space, delivering updated internal battlecards and research findings for our enterprise team.

  16. In-Person Conference Strategy: Support the planning and backend data operations for major in-person conference events - landscape & research, preparing executive briefs and organizing post-event engagement.

  17. Linkedin & Social Briefs: Draft LinkedIn social enablement copy for use during promotion and traffic generation to accelerate high-impact social selling within the institutional compliance space

  18. Data Architecture & Culture

  19. Dataset Organization: Clean, enrich & meticulously organize large outbound B2B datasets using MS Office & Google Workspace, tools to ensure our CMR maintains hygiene & has highly accurate, targeted lists

  20. CRM Governance: Actively monitor, and audit CRM environments to ensure clean data input, pipeline progression & optimal list segmentation.

  21. Culture & Slack Engagement: Take ownership of driving a positive, collaborative and energetic company culture by actively engaging and communicating across our internal Slack Channels.

  22. What We Are Looking For:

  23. Academic Standing: Current college Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, Economics or a related field

  24. Work Structure: Local to NYC area and able to commit to a hybrid work schedule working 2-4 days a week in our Wall Street Office

  25. The “Builder” & Hunter Mindset: Possesses a strong growth mindset with a genuine desire to build frameworks from scratch, problem-solve on the fly, and maintain a highly practical, execution-oriented approach. You aren’t afraid of the phone and have the grit required for cold outreach

  26. Tech & Data Literacy: Highly comfortable with data usage and manipulation. Familiarity or a strong willingness to learn our core tech stack (HubSpot, Slack, G-Suite, and MS Office, Gemini, Claude, Nooks, Apollo, Sales Navigator, etc) is required

  27. Sales & Commercial Fluency: Understands standard sales terminology (e.g., ICP, conversion funnels, multi-threading campaigns, SQLS)

  28. Industry Curiosity: A strong interest in or prior exposure to FinTech or Financial Crime Compliance (understanding the baseline concepts of AML, KYC, Sanctions or corporate registry data is a massive differentiator)
