Provides regulatory compliance, expertise and guidance in an advisory capacity to operational and selling business units in support of strategic initiatives, and management of compliance risk. Partners with business units on defining and implementing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with new or changed regulatory requirements. Reviews new and /or enhanced products and services to assess compliance risks and ensure adhere with regulatory requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- 5 years' work experience in compliance ; strong knowledge base in Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
- This position must be able to explain situations, their implications to the business and organization that may be affected.
- Ability to manage, develop, and motivate more junior associates ensuring the completion of work assignments.
- Strong Management, verbal and written communication skills.
- Apply the learned regulatory requirements, policies and procedures and provide clear, pertinent and timely advice to the supported business.
- Be familiar with industry trends and be able to relate to supported business.
- Comprehend the business operations and strategic objectives and navigate to find practical solutions to compliance issues.
- Consistently deliver on committed deadlines and deliverables.
- Apply the learned regulatory requirements, policies and procedures and provide clear, pertinent and timely advice to the supported business.
Impact You'll Make:
- Provides regulatory compliance expertise and guidance in an advisory capacity to operational and selling business units in support of strategic initiatives and management of compliance risk.
- Partners with business units on defining and implementing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with new or changed regulatory requirements.
- Reviews new and/or enhanced products and services to assess compliance risks and ensure adherence with regulatory requirements.
- Performs risk assessments, evaluates issues, and advises business units on the development of action plans to strengthen controls or remediate control gaps.
- Managing to rapid change or ambiguity.
- Accountability for performance results of assigned team.
- Ability to manage aspects of performance such as annual reviews as well compensation recommendations.
- Communicating information accurately, clearly and as intended.
- Developing solutions when disputes or disagreements occur.
- Be able to draw to own conclusion and decisions when faced with conflicts or when escalation is needed.
- Understanding and application and gathering new information.
- Gaining agreement and commitment from others by persuading, convincing, and negotiating.

Pay Scale Information :
The salary range for this position is $101,200.00 - $171,600.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
