The Global Fraud Solutions team is a dynamic team of individuals with diverse backgrounds working on some of the most cutting-edge, transformative projects for TransUnion. As a member of the Business Operations team, you will have visibility across all of Global Fraud Solutions and will have the unique opportunity to work with senior executives on the most impactful projects for the organization. What You'll Bring:

  • Experience leading business transformation and using business intelligence to make data-driven decisions
  • Broad understanding of multiple functional areas (finance, marketing, sales, product, engineering, delivery and support) and an ability to go deep in any area to develop SME knowledge to inform business transformation and re-engineering

  • Thorough understanding of financial metrics for business management

  • Passion for solving complex problems, with an ability to see the interrelated dependencies and a natural ability to break them down into an actionable components that can be resolved

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, adept at fostering collaboration, finding common ground and driving alignment / buy-in across stakeholders

We are seeking an Advisor within Business Operations for our Global Fraud Solutions (“GFS”) organization. TransUnion is experiencing significant expansion with entry into new vertical markets, key acquisitions, and new product growth initiatives. The Business Operations team’s mission is to transform how the GFS cross-functional organization plans, executes, manages and measures our business. Our vision is to have global business processes, systems and people that are always optimized, scaled and ready so that we can:

Successfully execute on our long-term strategies to achieve our growth goals.

The Business Operations Advisor collaborates with senior leaders across multiple global lines of business and across functional teams (product, sales, marketing, finance, technology, etc.) to lead a variety of mission-critical business readiness and / or operational improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with product, revenue and customer strategies. The Advisor identifies, designs and implements new or re-engineered operations that drive Global Fraud Solutions business performance, decrease complexity and increase effectiveness. The Business Operations Advisor is expected to take ownership of business operations initiatives (whether corporate-driven or GFS-driven projects), serving as facilitator and GFS-champion, partnering with key stakeholders to structure an effective, efficient and scalable approach to business operations, improve visibility of GFS strategy and execution plans and ensure alignment within GFS and across TU to strategic goals and desired outcomes.

The Advisor is passionate about ensuring our processes and systems are consistently and accurately measurable and scalable, and that business operations data is readily available and generated from a single source of truth. As financial performance is at the heart of a successful business operation, the Advisor will assist with preparation and cadence of three-year / annual planning; executive reporting, town hall meetings, quarterly business reviews, etc. in an effort to communicate progress toward goals, build consensus around strategy and execution plans as well as mitigate risk. Determining appropriate business KPIs, implementing the supporting operation to track them, and analyzing data outputs to provide insights is a daily part of the Consultant’s responsibilities as well.


Reporting into the VP of Business Operations, (s)he will be an integral part of our overall business management, product management, commercial success, and global planning efforts. (S)he will proactively partner with Global Solutions leadership and team members, and with cross-functional team members (e.g., Finance, Global Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Technology, Data and Analytics), to perform integral functions for the global Solutions team.

The Business Operations Advisor collaborates with senior leaders across multiple global lines of business and across functional teams (product, sales, marketing, finance, technology, etc.) to lead a variety of mission-critical business readiness and / or operational improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with product, revenue and customer strategies. The Advisor identifies, designs and implements new or re-engineered operations that drive Global Fraud Solutions business performance, decrease complexity and increase effectiveness.

Responsible for supporting Global Fraud Solutions Business Operations endeavors, you will:

  • Lead the design and implementation of business transformation initiatives that improve global cross-functional collaboration and execution velocity by creating consistent and scalable processes, clearly defined objectives and responsibilities

  • Serve as “the connector” between / across functional teams to align behaviors, tactical decisions and plans to GFS strategic choices, priorities and financial goals

  • Lead the creation of business intelligence reporting while harmonizing business data, KPIs and systems to fuel higher confidence in forecasts and plans and provide intelligent insights and analysis

  • Rapid resolution of all issues impacting revenue and customer growth / retention; Serve as p.o.c. for corporate initiatives impacting GFS operations

  • Lead the design and implementation of business readiness workstreams for new product launches and align them to product, revenue and customer goals (marketing readiness, sales readiness, delivery readiness, support readiness)

  • Coordinate the creation of a variety of executive business reports (annual plans, quarterly business reviews, Board and CEO-level presentations
