What you’ll bring:

In this critical role you will collaborate with internal teams to build automation capabilities that will challenge the status-quo and transform the way our teams work and operate. As a Network Automation Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in NetDevOps, SRE, and NRE to deliver solutions that will serve as the core foundation for product and operations teams. In this role, you will be part of an Agile team and manage multiple efforts simultaneously with occasional changes in priority. You must have the drive and technical/soft skills to make key decisions to deliver program objectives. A strong background and working knowledge of Network Engineering and exposure to DevOps/GitOps practices in infrastructure deployment/operations is required.

We’d love to see:

Extensive working knowledge of Network Infrastructure Engineering both on-prem and AWS/Azure/GCP. Strong background in NetDevOps/SRE/NRE practices. Bachelor degree in Network Engineering, Software Development, or related field. Ansible, Python, Terraform, Cisco DevNet certifications.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a DevOps/GitOps environment, preferably in the deployment and operation of network infrastructure
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the design, implementation, and operation of physical Network infrastructure (CCNA level)
  • Expert-level proficiency with Python programming language
  • Expert-level proficiency with automation platforms such as Ansible AWX or Tower
  • Working experience with CI/CD tools including BitBucket, Jenkins, Pipelines in an production environment
  • Experience with Network Infrastructure RESTful APIs, knowledge of OpenAPI and Swagger
  • Proficient with data serialization languages including JSON, YAML, and XML
  • Proficient in the operation and administration of open source operating systems (Linux)
  • Proven ability to build custom orchestration and instrumentation for the deployment and operations of Network Infrastructure
  • Solid knowledge of NetDevOps, SRE, or NRE practices
  • Exposure to Terraform, preferably in the deployment and operations of Cloud Networking elements (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Excellent communication, team-building and organizational skills

Impact You'll Make:

We’d Prefer to See:

  • Exposure and understanding of NETCONF, RESTCONF, and YANG models
  • Intermediate knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation IaC tools
  • Understanding of Network Monitoring including SNMP, Netflow, Syslog, and Wireshark
  • Exposure to Grafana and ChatOps
  • Exposure to container technologies like Docker, K8s
  • Exposure to cloud network architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Certifications are a plus
  • Exposure to Network infrastructure monitoring tools including NPM, NPMD, NDR, and APM
  • Working experience in an Agile Release Train

  • Streamline network infrastructure operations (on-prem and cloud) through the adoption of custom intent-driven automation solutions

  • Collaborate in the adoption of automation principles and NetDevOps/NRE practices across the entire organization
