What We'll Bring:

The platform Engineer will be responsible for driving the end-to-end platform Deployment and support focusing on aspects like Customer Experience, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipeline and other automation tools. The role will be involved in evangelizing, stabilizing, and defining the platform layer deployment and support. The ideal candidate will have a mindset of owning platform layer as a product offering.

What You'll Bring:

Job Duties:

• Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
• Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
• Implementing / Deployment and Supporting various automation tools and required infrastructure
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
• Thorough understanding of the DevOps and pipeline implementations.
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
• Detailed understanding of platform components like Infrastructure, Network and security aspects.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure technologies On Prem and Cloud hosted.
• Working with service providers (Carriers / Colo and Hardware)
• Development experience with Enterprise software products and SDLC lifecycle.
• Thorough understanding of the SRE practices and working experience with at least one of the observability stacks (Monitoring, logging, Visualization).

Impact You'll Make:

Qualifications/Education:

• 8+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining Software defined Data Centers.
• Programming experience with at least one of the languages, Python, PowerShell or PowerCLI
• Experience with Cisco Networking and ITSM process knowledge, ITIL Certification.

Additional Information:

• Ability to anticipate risks and issues, facilitate calls to balance business needs vs technical issues
• Strong understanding and working experience of at least one public cloud technology
