What You'll Bring:

• 7+ years’ relevant experience with Front End Web Development
• Experience writing and troubleshooting JavaScript with a focus on Single Page Applications
• Knowledge of PHP is a must
• Java focusing on Tomcat, JBOSS and Spring MVC
• Experience working in a process and deadline driven environment
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects

We'd Prefer to See:

• Knowledge of JQuery, NodeJS, Angular – Angular 2 and Typescript required
• Working knowledge of Modern Web Application design including CSS 3, HTML 5 - Responsive / Adaptive Design preferred
• Knowledge of current development architecture and patterns such as flux, redux, ngrx, observables
• Pimcore
• Nginx
• Apache HTTP
• Basic Data Modeling, Database Experience
• Working with the Creative Suite - taking Photoshop to HTML

Impact You'll Make:

• Work with application development teams to design and build front end user interfaces
• Work with the UICoP’s architecture team to continually improve the front-end development processes and quality
• Maintain and review code written by other members of the team and outside consultants
• Manage and coach junior members of the UICoP
• Perform on-call duties on a rotating basis
• Participate in the requirements/analysis phase of new projects
• Collaborate on application enhancements, requirements, analysis, and development with each product owner and multi-disciplinary teams
• Translate requirements to use cases and user stories
• Develop websites/portals/services for projects with an attention to detail, scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Write thorough documentation and adhere to development best practices and security standards
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Perform low-level troubleshooting across all components
• Quickly respond to and resolve production issues and customer support requests
• Manage 3rd party vendor communication and logistics
• Monitor application performance
