Who You Are:

You are organized and use critical thinking skills to problem solve and grow the business. You are good at communicating with team members and clients alike and you love dogs (obviously).

What You’ll Do:

  • Team Scheduling & Resource Management: Prepare the grooming shift schedule and ensure groomers are scheduled appropriately.
  • Grow the Business: grow our grooming service line by highlighting and sharing your team’s passion for pets and providing differentiated spa services to pamper them!
  • Daily Operations:
    • Perform Groomer functions as requested that meet client expectations and are appropriate for the dog.
    • Resolve issues escalated by groomers and escalate emergent issues to a manager.
    • Provide onsite support for grooming check-in and check-out and aid groomers with tasks as needed.
    • Ensure highest level of service, quality and safety.
    • Deliver accurate reporting.
  • Inventory: Conduct inventory, ensuring that groomers have all supplies needed to deliver service.
  • Client Communication: Build relationships through communicating with clients regarding service and scheduling needs.
  • Team Management: Cultivate a high-performing, engaged team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a role supervising in a pet care environment.
  • Experience as a professional groomer.
  • Comfort working with and around dogs.
  • Experience with routing or complicated scheduling is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Critical thinking skills and proven ability to drive results.
  • Full-time schedule availability.
  • Mac OS proficiency preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
  • One-on-one interactions with dogs.
  • Bend, twist, stretch, and reach.
  • Hand and wrist movement.
