About the Role
At Skiptown, we’re more than just a bar or dog park, we’re a community for pups and their people. As our Bar & Park Manager, you’ll own the guest experience, team performance, and day-to-day operations of our indoor/outdoor off-leash dog bar and park. You’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment for both pups and people, while managing staff, overseeing compliance, and hitting revenue goals.
This role is perfect for a hospitality or recreation leader who knows how to balance fun with high standards, build a strong team culture, and take full ownership of a fast-paced business unit.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Culture
- Onboard, train, schedule, and coach park & bar team members
- Set the tone for excellent service and strong communication
- Conduct performance evaluations and corrective action when needed
- Foster a collaborative, values-aligned team culture
Operations & Financial Oversight
- Own the P&L for the bar and park and drive toward revenue targets
- Manage inventory of beverages, supplies, and facility materials
- Track labor and costs, control expenses, and execute on performance goals
- Maintain compliance with alcohol laws, health codes, and safety standards
Experience Execution & Guest Engagement
- Drive membership sales, promotional initiatives, and park usage
- Support and lead events alongside the HQ & marketing teams
- Handle client concerns, resolve incidents, and maintain Skiptown’s safety standards for dog behavior and park rules
Facilities & Safety
- Ensure the facility remains clean, well-stocked, and inviting
- Monitor all aspects of the dog park experience and correct unsafe behavior when needed
- Uphold alcohol service compliance, facility cleanliness, and dog safety protocols

Required Skills & Experience
- Evening and weekend availability
- 2+ years of experience in bar, hospitality, or recreational management
- Experience managing a team, including scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews
- Familiarity with bar operations, alcohol service laws, and inventory control
- Financial literacy and comfort managing budgets and revenue
- Experience resolving guest concerns and leading safety/compliance efforts
- Alcohol service certification preferred
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, kneel, run, walk, and move for long periods during a shift
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in an indoor/outdoor setting around dogs of all sizes and energy levels
