Role Overview
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages in a fast, friendly, and professional manner. This role ensures the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with all alcohol service laws while providing high-quality service that encourages repeat visits and maximizes sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests, answer menu questions, and make recommendations.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout shifts.
- Restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies as needed.
- Support bar promotions and special events to drive sales.
- Process payments quickly and accurately using the POS system.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws and company policies.
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age when necessary.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Work closely with the Bar Supervisor and other bartenders to maintain smooth operations.
- Communicate low stock levels, maintenance needs, or guest feedback to leadership.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic bartending techniques and beverage recipes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Comfortable handling money and operating a POS system.
- Team-oriented with a professional, positive attitude.
Experience:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- Must meet the minimum age requirement for alcohol service (21+).
- Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred or willingness to obtain.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-noise environment.
- May require evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
