We're hiring an eager and results-oriented SLED (State and Local Government and Education) Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit and hunter attitude. As an AE, you will act as an internal quarterback, building on key partners and resources to drive deals through the customer engagement process. You'll also be responsible for nurturing territories while also having the opportunity to develop untapped areas. As an account executive you should have held quotas within a SLED territory--specifically state and local Law Enforcement. B2B SaaS is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and Nurture Pipeline Lead generation primarily driven by your dedicated sales development rep (SDR); you will be responsible for managing and driving sales cycles by qualifying and accurately forecasting new business opportunities.
- Become an expert in uncovering challenges that our prospective clients face. Through a product presentation, you will show how Skopenow solves their challenges, addresses their particular concerns, and helps their company grow.
- Always Be Closing Drive revenue by studying and navigating the customer buying process, engaging internal and external key stakeholders, and ultimately securing a signed agreement.
- Proven ability to close $1m+ quotas across SLED accounts.
Requirements
- 3+ years SLED Sales Experience, particularly selling to Law Enforcement
- SaaS sales Experience
- BA/BS Degree
- Strong phone & interpersonal skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and strong time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Salesforce Experience
This position will be remote and can be located anywhere in the U.S.
