What You’ll Do:

As the Vice President of Services Delivery, you will oversee our Program Management team in administering a complex portfolio of government programs to ensure customer success and meet revenue targets. You will do this by executing and growing programs through follow-on opportunities.

You will work directly with our Programs, Business Development, Capture, Finance and Legal teams to plan and manage all aspects of assigned program(s), such as scope, deliverables, impact on the business, resources, profit and loss, product strategy, account reporting, and support to higher level portfolio objectives.

You will ensure your team’s ability to provide clear recommendations to Product, Technology, Security, and Science teams to support the strategic direction for the company, focusing on technology delivery through contract deliverables. You will be vital to the success and growth of our partner and client relationships. You will implement repeatable program management processes across the program lifecycle to manage cost, schedule, performance, and risk.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Executes all position responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s core values, mission, and purpose
  • Proactively and regularly communicate clear roles, goals and expectations for team members; promote a culture of feedback and accountability
  • Assess, evaluate and report on overall individual, team, and revenue performance to support and foster an environment of personal, professional, and organizational growth and development
  • Leverage our leadership and management competencies to develop, lead and inspire a diverse, high-performing team
  • Translate business objectives into the development of new practices, services or processes to support revenue generation activities
  • Lead your team to create and manage both short-and long-term project and program goals
  • Ensure all government programs are compliant with customer requirements throughout all program phases
  • Execute programs cross-functionally to ensure customer success, promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
  • Manage programs in a way to balance the maximization of both profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare ad hoc and periodic presentations and reports and present them to stakeholders
  • Conduct analyses and situational reporting to ensure that contracts are being executed within negotiated scope while ensuring successful business outcomes for both Slingshot and our stakeholders
  • Lead Program Management team in navigating complex relationships and associated contracts with client(s), Primes, and Subcontractors to successfully deliver on our commitments to maintain trust within the industry
  • Communicate customer feedback and needs to stakeholders to ensure successful development, execution and delivery of programs
  • Utilize professional judgment, critical thinking skills and research to improve program processes and resolve issues affecting program performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above)

Pre-Requisites

  • This position requires an active Top Secret government security clearance, eligibility for Top Secret Clearance requires U.S. citizenship. We require the ability and willingness to obtain and/or maintain Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to travel within the continental United States approximately 25% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technical field, or possess equivalent experience

Minimum Requirements

  • 14+ years experience executing contracts with the Federal Government
  • 7+ years experience of successfully leading a team, understanding of how to grow and scale a team to support company growth. Functional background in Program or Account Management, Customer Success or similar area
  • Strong writing and presentation skills and an ability to communicate at all levels of commercial and government organizations
  • Expertise employing program management techniques to achieve program success, as measured by cost, schedule, and performance metrics
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-disciplinary teams composed of, for example, software engineering, business operations, finance, contracting, and sales

Preferred Skills

  • Adept in supporting Government Partners like the DoD and/or FedCiv delivering complex solutions and multi-domain efforts
  • Experience working with DoD, Intelligence Community, and/or other US Government customers
  • PMP, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma, or relevant process oriented certification
  • Scaling early-stage data-centric startup experience
  • Master’s degree in business or technical field

Pay Range: $230,000-$250,000 (base salary) + incentive
