Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and trusted Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the CEO, Chief of Staff, and select members of the Executive Leadership Team. This is the most senior administrative role at Slingshot Aerospace, reporting to the Chief of Staff and playing a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, focus, and effectiveness of our executive operations.
In addition to traditional executive support, this role will partner closely with the Chief of Staff on HR administration, including coordination of sensitive personnel matters, onboarding, and internal communications. The Executive Assistant will also serve as a key liaison to the Board of Directors and Investors, ensuring seamless communication and logistics for high-stakes engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, Chief of Staff, and select senior executives, including calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics.
- Partner with the Chief of Staff on HR administrative functions, including onboarding/offboarding, employee communications, and coordination of confidential documentation.
- Serve as a liaison to the Board of Directors and investors, managing communications, scheduling, and logistics for board meetings and investor interactions.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of integrity and discretion.
- Coordinate and support executive meetings, board prep, leadership offsites, and company-wide events.
- Track and manage action items, priorities, and follow-ups across the executive team.
- Lead by example as the senior-most administrative professional, mentoring junior staff and modeling operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience supporting C-level executives in high-growth, high-trust environments.
- Demonstrated experience handling HR-related administrative tasks or working closely with People/HR teams.
- Experience interfacing with Boards of Directors and investors in a professional and confidential manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or technology sectors is a plus.
