Smiletronix is delivering a home check-up, tracking and teledentistry solution. Dental caries is the #1 untreated disease globally with the global economic burden of all dental diseases estimated at nearly $450 billion annually. This puts a huge burden on the payers, whether national healthcare, private insurance or the patient. Smiletronix is changing the way dental care is managed by bringing dental check-ups to the home using our patented intraoral imaging device and ai powered diagnostics solution for early detection and preventative action.

Smiletronix is looking for a Junior Mobile Developer to join the tech team. This is an opportunity to join a well funded VC and strategically backed startup who is making a difference in the new healthcare environment that COVID has created. Working closely with our Head of Mobile to create a great product the candidate will have the opportunity to learn multiple languages and methodologies on the job and advance their skillset. Recent graduates are welcome to apply but there must be some real-world project experience as described in the requirements below. Our goal is to provide the right environment and support structure for a junior candidate to evolve into a well-rounded senior mobile developer.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Entry-Level

REQUIREMENTS // MUST

• At least 1 years of experience in mobile development.
• Understanding and applying the SOLID principles.
• Up to date with the latest mobile frameworks and libraries
• Medium/High level of Swift or Kotlin knowledge (or both!)
• Experience with RESTful Services and API connection #restful
• Looking to further develop your skills as a developer
• Great communication skills
• OO programming concepts and patterns
• Familiarity with version control systems and workflows (preferably Git) #git
• Strong documentation skills. #documentation

BONUS SKILLS

• Knowledge for both iOS and Android platforms highly valued
• Knowledge of using CI/CD for different deployments.
• An eye for user behaviour and design #ux #ui
• Comfortable on the command line
• Knowledge of test-driven development #testing

COMPENSATION AND LOCATION:

• compensation will be competitive and a combination of salary + share options
• We are looking for European based developers only. The position can be remote for a limited period with the expectation to eventually relocate to our tech office in Barcelona once the pandemic is settled.
