Experience Required: Fresh or 1+ years in content writing with bachelor’s in Marketing, Journalism, or a relevant field (preferred). Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, Pakistan. Required Skills: Excellent English written and spoken communication skills; Ability to deliver on tight deadlines; A light and conversational writing style; A portfolio of published articles; Knowledge of Content Management Systems, like WordPress; Know-how of social media marketing; Previous experience working as a Copywriter or content writer; Fluency with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools; Staying updated via research on the new learnings and developments in digital content strategy. Job Description: You will be responsible for overseeing the revision, editing, and proofreading of content as needed by marketing teams’ requirements; Pushing engaging content via Social Champ blog; Giving ideas for new initiatives executing the changes in marketing strategies and finding ways to amplify it, optimizing content for search engines (SEO) and lead generation; Writing compelling copies for all digital platforms (website, paid marketing, social media, email newsletter, and others); Ensuring that Social Champ’s personality is being reflected in all our content; Look for gaps in the content and recommend new topics; Finding new platforms for our content to venture into and creatively remixing existing platforms to break the clutter; Conducting keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs. Monitoring web traffic and engagement (e.g., conversions and bounce rates); Performing industry research and generate ideas around trending topics.
