Position Overview:

The Factory Operations Technician will support the R&D and production efforts. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that each team is optimized for their respective output. This role is ideal for someone eager and excited about manufacturing and robotics, and willing to operate in a factory environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to fix minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical problems
• Maintain equipment and proactively ensure facility operations are running smoothly.
• Completing daily, weekly, monthly office inventory reconciliation
• Procurement of equipment and key materials.
• Help deliver the highest quality and standards to drive customer value.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of production processes, assist in the implementation of manufacturing procedures like ISO9001 and AS9100D.
• Assist the development of operational procedures for a company in a new facility location.

Qualifications:

• 1-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift certification, or willingness to achieve certification
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to climb and work safely at heights utilizing ladders and scissor lifts
• Capable use of general and power tools
• Driver’s License and ability to drive

Preferred Skills:

• Metalworking, carpentry, and/or welding
• Ability to communicate in Spanish, in addition to English
• Basic computer and technology proficiency
• A strong team player with the ability to work independently.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and highly communicative
