Technical Project Manager

For the position of technical project manager, or chief project engineer of technological constructions (energy and petrochemical industry) we are looking for a dynamic person who is ready to apply existing skills in the engineering or project field.

Job duties

  • The work of the chief engineer of the project, management of the technical aspects of project - control of the designers' outputs and management of coordination meetings
  • Supervision of the preparation of complete project documentation for the building permit and for the implementation stages of the documentation
  • Active cooperation with designers in the technical department and maintaining communication with client teams and subcontractors from various technical disciplines during the entire process of project planning and implementation
  • Supervision of compliance with the project schedule, including provision of personnel, technical and material needs
  • Active cooperation in the design of appropriate technical solutions
  • For larger projects, regular communication and cooperation with the project manager
  • For smaller projects, project management with the help and supervision of the company's management

Specific tasks will be adapted to the skills and experience of the selected candidate. Personal training through work on currently ongoing projects is expected. Experience

  • Experience in the field for at least 3 years (chief engineer, designer, project manager)
  • Experience in the preparation and coordination of technological construction projects - knowledge of the content and individual stages of project documentation necessary for obtaining building permits
  • Project management skills – participating in the preparation of the schedule, budget and coordination of internal and external staffing of the project
  • Ability to search for information, ask for help from colleagues or company management and not be afraid to make operational decisions
  • Skills in basic computer applications MS Office and others
  • Control of the project management tool - MS Project is used in the company

The following skills are not a requirement but can help in the selection process:

  • Experience with AutoCAD and CADWorx and designing chemical, technological or energy units
  • Experience in the preparation and coordination of technological construction projects - division of work, agreement on the work schedule, construction supervision, entries in the construction diary
  • Business skills – preparation of price offers, preparation of documents and tender documentation, communication with customers and suppliers

Qualifications

  • University degree with a technical focus – mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or technical equipment of buildings

  • Project documentation - advanced

  • Project management - basics

  • MS Office, MS Project - basics

  • AutoCAD, CADWorx - basics

  • Group B driver's license
