As a Tech Lead, you will serve as the right hand to the CTO, steering daily technical operations and driving the engineering vision forward. This role is pivotal in leading our multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance. You will be instrumental in resource planning, project prioritization, and ensuring seamless integration across projects. Your leadership will be key in maintaining high technical standards and mentoring engineers to reach their full potential.
In this role you will
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of client requests in collaboration with the CTO and participate in creative brainstorming sessions to explore innovative solutions.
- Lead the preparation and management of project kickoffs, including initial client calls, preliminary budgeting, and workload distribution across the team.
- Oversee detailed project planning and resource allocation to ensure deadlines, responsibilities, and milestones are clearly defined and met.
- Scout and assess suppliers, components, and emerging technologies, and actively participate in strategic technical decision-making.
- Coordinate preassembly and final assembly phases — from logistics and team coordination to on-site supervision and quality assurance.
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and clients, managing expectations, negotiating timelines, and addressing any technical or logistical challenges as they arise.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in engineering roles, ideally at least 1 year in a leadership position
- Proven experience in digital manufacturing and mechatronic systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments
- Experience in resource planning and project prioritization across multiple projects
- Familiarity with tools such as Fusion360, PCB design software, and project management platforms like Monday or Wrike
- Willingness to travel internationally for project installations (approximately 3-4 times per year, ranging from 1 to 4 weeks)
Qualifications
- Education - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electronic, and software domains.
- Experience with CAD design, microcontrollers, PCB design, and firmware/software integration.
