Delivery Technician (Boston) Weekends Only 10am to 8pm
SparkCharge
- Load/unload SparkCharge EV charging equipment into a vehicle utilizing a pallet jack/forklift as well as manually lifting equipment that weighs 50-70lbs
- Use GPS and SparkCharge’s app to locate customers
- Support the maintenance of mobile electric vehicle charging products including Roadie V2, V3 and V3 Hybrid
- Work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders to ensure Mobile EV Charging Operations will meet SparkCharge Benchmarks.
- Promptly and meticulously documenting all service-related activities within SparkCharge’s Operating System
- Demonstrate SparkCharge brand, mission, and purpose to customers through relevant human skills
- Ensure all training and certifications required for the position are maintained in an up to date and timely fashion.
- Clearly communicate with customers to ensure their vehicle is accessible and ready to be charged
- Safely operate SparkCharge charging equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and problem solve when necessary
- Maintain the service vehicle in good working condition to ensure safe and efficient transportation
- Ensure that the software applications are up-to-date and functioning properly
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
- Clean Driver's license
- Excellent or perfect driving record--no moving violations
- Ability to operate a pallet jack/forklift
- Customer service skills demonstrating the ability to confirm, reassure, or resolve customer concerns, issues, or apprehensions
- Comfortable towing a trailer in a pickup truck
- Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment (digital multi-meter, power meter, etc.), laptop/tablet, and smartphone
- Ability to pass a thorough background check
- Ability to use mobile apps and a computer
- Proven history of being punctual, reliable, and courteous
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs multiple times per day
- Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
