About The Role

As an Account Executive at SparkCharge, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will work closely with fleet operators, automotive partners, event organizers, and municipalities to provide tailored mobile EV charging solutions that meet their needs. This role requires a proactive sales professional who can drive revenue

What You'll Do

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers in key markets such as fleet operators, auto OEMs, government agencies, and large enterprises.
  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies, including cold outreach, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Sales Pipeline & Deal Management: Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure. Maintain a strong and active sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Consultative Selling & Solution Development: Understand customer needs and challenges, and position SparkCharge’s mobile EV charging solutions as the ideal fit.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a seamless onboarding and post-sale experience. Conduct regular check-ins and account reviews to drive long-term customer success and retention.
  • Revenue & Performance Tracking: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Provide sales forecasts, market insights, and competitive intelligence to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in EV charging, energy, SaaS, fleet management, or automotive industries.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills:
  • Strong consultative selling and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge & Passion:
  • Knowledge of EV infrastructure, mobility, fleet electrification, or energy services is a plus.
  • Passion for sustainability and technology-driven solutions.
  • Communication & Relationship-Building:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tech-Savvy & CRM Experience:
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms and sales automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage a pipeline effectively.
  • Self-Starter & Team Player:
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.
