trivago innovation center is looking for a passionate and seasoned Senior Data Analyst who will join our DATA team and lead our disruptive product on the B2C channel.
The ideal candidate should be able to develop effective and efficient data analysis solutions, interpret and communicate data-driven insights to inform decision-making, and support data-driven initiatives that drive business objectives.

About the role:
How you’ll make an impact:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide insights into business performance.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports on revenue, costs, profitability, and other key financial metrics.
- Performing financial reconciliation with business partners, focusing on payment reconciliation and ongoing monitoring of financial transactions.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy across multiple sources.
- Continuously seek ways to improve data reporting processes, financial modeling, and forecasting accuracy.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis and interpretation (Marketing/ Business/ Product).
- High proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with Rivery - An advantage
- Experience with data visualization of large data sets using BI systems (Sisense, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Experience working with data warehouse/data lake tools like Snowflake/ Athena/ Redshift/ BigQuery.
- Knowledge of Python - An advantage.
- Experience building ETL processes – An advantage.
- Knowledge/experience with the ELK stack and Grafana is an advantage.
- High level of English communication.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and apply them to facilitate performance optimizations.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment and with tight deadlines.
