About Spoiler Alert

Spoiler Alert is a fast-growing Series A SaaS company on a mission to expand consumer access to affordable, everyday essentials by unlocking the value in surplus inventory. We've powered the sale of over $5 billion in products from leading CPG brands like Unilever, Kraft Heinz, and Mondelez into the off-price retail channel - recovering value for brands, reducing waste, and creating savings for consumers.

We're building the marketplace infrastructure to transform how CPG surplus moves to market. Our integrated payments and order-to-cash capabilities are creating a more dynamic, liquid marketplace that unlocks new revenue streams for brands and buyers alike. We're looking for a results-driven Product Manager, Buyer Network & Order-to-Cash to scale this offering and amplify our impact. This is a unique opportunity to own a product portfolio at the intersection of marketplace dynamics, fintech, and supply chain - work that directly shapes Spoiler Alert's revenue growth, customer experience, and market position.

The Opportunity

As Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Spoiler Alert’s buyer network and order-to-cash capabilities - the systems that power transactions between CPG brands and off-price retailers. You will own a suite of mission-critical functionality aimed at increasing Spoiler Alert’s transaction volume, including:

  • Order-to-cash facilitation via the Spoiler Alert marketplace
  • Buyer & seller collaboration tools and workflows
  • Order visibility and payment settlement processes
  • Financial operations workflows (POs, invoicing, payments, disputes)
  • Payment insurance partnerships, buyer onboarding and credit verification

Your mission will be to increase marketplace liquidity and enable new revenue streams by building intuitive, automated, and scalable order-to-cash capabilities. Your work will directly unlock revenue recovery for major CPG brands, increase deal flow in the discount channel market, and reshape the way surplus inventory reach consumers - reducing waste while expanding access to affordable products.

You will report to the VP of Product and collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, sales, revenue operations, finance and legal to evolve this offering into a core revenue engine.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the long-term product roadmap for Spoiler Alert’s network connectivity and order-to-cash capabilities, integrating payments, risk management, and buyer/seller connectivity.
  • Deeply understand the needs of your users - including CPG brand sellers, off-price buyers, and internal Operations and Finance teams - to define and prioritize features that serve the full marketplace ecosystem
  • Translate market needs, customer pain points, and operational realities into a clear multi-quarter roadmap.
  • Define and champion the product vision that balances marketplace liquidity goals with operational excellence and seller/buyer satisfaction.
  • Drive product evolution from early adoption through scaled deployment to become a core revenue engine for the business.
  • Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing to ensure GTM readiness, positioning, and customer understanding.
  • Collaborate with finance, risk, and legal teams to ensure compliance with payment insurance, dispute processes, and credit exposure policies.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for internal teams on how the network connectivity and order-to-cash model works and its strategic value to the business.

Execution & Delivery

  • Lead continuous discovery, requirements definition, and end-to-end delivery of key capabilities
  • Work directly with Design, Data & Engineering and Product Marketing to scope, prioritize (RICE Framework), and release high-impact features through iterative delivery cycles.
  • Deliver high-quality products in a repeatable and optimized SDLC
  • Define and track KPIs that measure performance and inform future investments
  • Measure the impact of new features using data, experiments, and customer feedback loops.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in B2B SaaS, marketplace, or fintech platforms.
  • Demonstrated success owning a complex, multi-sided workflow or marketplace product.
  • Experience building products that incorporate payments, financial workflows, or order-to-cash components (experience with insurance or fintech components is a strong plus)
  • Strong data decision-making skills: able to assess tradeoffs, analyze funnels, and define and track clear KPIs.
  • Strong execution discipline and attention to detail: ensures clarity on requirements and “definition of done,” manages dependencies, and follows through to deliver high-quality outcomes on time. Proven ability to drive clarity and action in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and alignment across commercial, operational, and technical teams
  • Ability to influence without authority and work closely with sales, operations, legal and finance.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments and iterating based on rapid customer feedback
  • A data-driven mindset, bias for action, and passion for driving measurable business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in CPG, food & beverage, wholesale distribution, freight/logistics, resale/secondary market channels or retail supply chain.
  • Experience with marketplace governance, trust & safety, or verification workflows.
  • Understanding of transportation networks and 3PL coordination.
  • Experience at a growth-stage startup launching v1 to scaled versions of complex capabilities.
