Data and analytics stayed complex on purpose. Complexity was the business model, and it kept companies from seeing more than a fraction of their business. That is why 95% of enterprise AI returns nothing (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2025). A design problem, not a technology one.

Who We Are Looking For

A hunter and closer who can open doors and sign contracts in the next two quarters. Your network, your demos, your closes. You speak value creation without rehearsing it, you prefer closing to talking about process, and you want your pay tied to what you produce.

The Job

We need selling and closing right now. We will build the sales operation later, and as we go. Right now it is your network, your demos, and signed contracts.

You open doors at companies, PE funds, operating teams, and portfolio company CIOs, CFOs, and CEOs. You and the SQOR CEO run the demos. You close. Deals run $50K to $250K in Annual Contract Value (ACV), expanding across entire portfolios. Target: 5 to 10 logos before the round. The path to CRO is earned by hitting quota and helping others hit theirs.

What You Bring

  • 5 to 12 years carrying a quota, closing complex deals where nobody knew the brand and nobody helped you
  • An active network you can call tomorrow, ideally into PE firms, operating partners, or portfolio leadership
  • Command of a real sales methodology (MEDDPICC, Challenger, or equivalent) that you actually run, not just recite
  • Experience selling into private equity, retail, restaurants and franchises, banking, or multi-location operators is a strong plus
  • A track record selling analytics, data, Business Intelligence (BI), or AI into the C-suite is a plus
  • Comfort owning the full cycle solo: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close, without SDRs or brand cover
  • Fluent in customer relationship management (CRM) hygiene and clean forecasting; you can call your number and hit it

The Terms

  • Very high commission on every deal, from day one. Short cycle, fast deploy. Numbers on the board, you get paid.
  • Approximately 2% ownership.
  • Base salary expected Q3 2026 as we close a financing round with significant interest.
  • You join 20 A-player operators, all on equity, many for two years or more, behind a product with Google partnership credibility and a repeatable PE motion already running.
