This role is for an SVP / Head of Product Management. It has very specific requirements, so read carefully.

It is a direct contributor role and it is Equity Only for the next few months. We are about to go live and expect to raise a round imminently. That doesn't mean the role is part-time, or that it is an "advisor" role. It means that this is a roll-up-your-sleeves role where you will be expected to contribute daily in a fast moving, winning environment. It requires your dedication to the advancement of the product as required below and to bringing meaningful value to our users, this role is for you, apply. The Role:

As the Head of Product Management you will spearhead the next stage of development and growth of our AI for BI product SQOR.ai, driving our vision and our product-led growth strategy. This role demands a unique blend of strategic insight, technical prowess, and a user-first mindset to deliver an Executive BI Dashboard that sets new industry standards for ease of use and effectiveness.

Compensation:

  • The role offers 1% to 2% equity, based on your involvement and contribution.

Position represents a long-term commitment to grow alongside our team of 18 who are all here for Equity Only. We all understand that as we gain a little traction and raise capital, salaries will become available and will scale as the company scales. We are about to launch and intend to provide some salary compensation by Q2 of this year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a product strategy based on PLG principles, ensuring our product meets the evolving needs of our users and stays ahead of market trends.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to inform decision-making, driving KPI growth and ensuring our product delivers measurable value to our customers.
  • User-Centric Design: Deeply understand our users' needs, pain points, and workflows to deliver differentiated solutions that address their problems in ways our competitors do not.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide the integration and analysis of SaaS tools, ensuring our platform extracts and leverages the most valuable data to provide meaningful intelligence.
  • Telemetry and Feedback Loops: Manage the instrumentation of our product with the necessary telemetry to enable continuous testing, learning, and iteration, enhancing product-market fit.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of product managers and project managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability in leading complex projects, with a focus on timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder management. Skilled in Agile methodologies and familiar with Scrum, Kanban, or Lean startup methodologies to drive product development and iteration.
  • User Engagement and Research: Strong skills in engaging with users through various methods such as surveys, interviews, and user testing sessions to gather feedback and insights. Experience in translating user feedback into actionable product requirements and improvements.
  • Product Requirement and Documentation Development: Proficient in creating detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development team and ensure alignment with user needs and business goals.
  • Roadmap Strategy and Execution: Ability to develop and communicate a clear, strategic product roadmap that aligns with the company's vision and market demands. Experience in prioritizing features based on value to the user and the business, and adjusting plans as needed based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align on product vision, resolve conflicts, and ensure a cohesive user experience.
  • Data Analysis for Product Enhancement: Competence in using analytics tools to track user behavior, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions to enhance product features and user satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 8+ years of experience in product and project management, with a proven track record of leading successful product development in the AI, BI, or SaaS space.
  • Strong background in extracting BI from SaaS integrations (ETL’s) and deploying large language models (LLMs) and AI technologies, particularly in the BI domain.
  • Expertise in product-led growth strategies, data-driven decision making, and KPI optimization.
  • Exceptional ability to identify user needs and craft solutions that are not only effective but also surpass competition.
  • Demonstrable experience with managing product and project details for pre-launch, launch, and post-launch readiness and execution.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for operational details, ensuring nothing is overlooked in product development and execution.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of working with users to motivating teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
