The Opportunity:

This role is for a Senior Full Stack Engineer and Co-founder for SQOR Technologies Inc.. It is a direct contributor role and it will be Equity Only for the next couple of months. We are 11 professionals ALL working for equity right now because we believe that SQOR.ai has very high unicorn potential. To be clear, this does not mean that the role is part-time, or that it is an "advisor" role. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role where you will be expected to contribute high quality code daily that brings meaningful value to the users daily, and there are over 150 users on the platform right now. Position Overview: TL;DR

We are seeking a true Full Stack MERN badass who loves well done code and who embodies pixel-perfect work, technical innovation, and who ideally loves UI and UX as well. This unique role is tailored for someone who thrives in mastering the front end, with a solid command over CSS and TypeScript, but also excels and has a firm command of the back end as well; a true full stack capable engineer. You should have a proven track record of not just writing code, but crafting artful, efficient solutions that adhere to the highest standards of quality and best practices.

Compensation:

The role offers 1% of the company equity, based on your involvement and contribution. This is a startup that has only recently launched and has users, but is still a startup. Salaries will become available as funding happens, which should be soon. This position represents a commitment to join a founding team and grow alongside that team. As we gain a traction and raise capital, like I said, salaries will become available. We have recently launched, have over 150 companies currently on the platform, and so we intend to raise and provide some salary compensation in Q3, which is coming up.

THE RIGHT PERSON:

Your expertise in pixel-perfect front-end technologies will be pivotal as you implement responsive designs with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every pixel is in place and every interaction feels intuitive. On the full stack side, your proficiency in integrating and manipulating APIs will be crucial in building robust, scalable systems. We expect a high level of proficiency in code quality and organization, demonstrated through your commitment to linting, code reviews, and a relentless pursuit of optimization and refinement.

In this role, you will be more than a developer; you'll be a trendsetter in the tech industry, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with front end magic and full stack prowess. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop intuitive, visually compelling interfaces for our AI for BI platform.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on design changes using Figma.
• Write efficient, clean code, focusing on CSS and front-end frameworks.
• Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay ahead of trends in user-centric design and product-led growth.
• Collaborate with a team to integrate front-end and back-end seamlessly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in Full Stack MERN development, with a heavy front-end focus.
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Express, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles, user-centric design, and product-led growth (PLG).
• Expert at Socket.io for chat a big plus.
• Ability to quickly adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with the latest animation libraries and front-end trends.
• Experience in working with and improving existing Material UI designs.
• Bonus: Experience with analytics tools, payment gateways, SEO, and chatbots.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant degree and/or substantial experience in a similar role.
• A portfolio showcasing expertise in front-end development and design. (ADD LINK TO PORTFOLIO)
• Strong Figma skills for rapid prototyping and design iteration.
