This is a HANDS ON sales role for a B2B SaaS Sales in the Business Intelligence arena. It is a direct contributor role and that will also need to build a team. This role is for people who have a history of closing deals and doing well financially as a result. If that is you, please continue.
The role is Equity + High Commissions Only for the next couple of months until salaries can be provided. That doesn't mean part-time, or that it is an "advisor" role. It is a roll-up-your-sleeves, go to events and close business role, where you will be expected to kill it and build revenues. The great thing is that you are selling something that every company needs and that saves them a ton of money while providing two tons of value.

Company Description
SQOR.ai is transforming SaaS KPI data into actionable business intelligence and reducing a company's dependency on data experts, analysts and scientists costing them millions and delivering very little return on that spend. As a result of our access to direct company data and KPI's, we also play well with VC's seeking trustworthy and data-driven due diligence frameworks for validating KPI's in pre-investment, and ongoing post-investment monitoring in a way that doesn't put off the companies.
SQOR will help companies to reduce their burn rate while gaining business intelligence that is plug-and-play. Our technology is a breakthrough in the business intelligence space, and we are on the cusp of significant growth. In the first 60 days we have over 150 companies that have organically signed up to the company.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a hunter with hands-on B2B SaaS software sales experience. This role is for someone very comfortable with selling into the highest levels at companies and is a land-and-expand sale. This is a direct contributor role for someone with a passion for the tech ecosystem and a history of success in startup environments and sales. This role is tailor-made for those accustomed to engaging with senior-level executives (C-levels, SVPs, VPs) in companies with over 100+ employees, especially those in the Series B, C, or higher funding stages.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in closing deals fast with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding substantial sales goals (only $500K first year). This is a unique opportunity for those seeking to cash in seriously on their sales excellence by building substantial equity in a fast-growing startup. We are primarily equity right now, because we are brand new. As revenues increase, salaries will be available.
We are based in NYC and are looking for one or more key people here, although the right candidate(s) will hail from any of the major tech hubs in the US. This role requires networkers in whatever hub you are in, with their own network. Also, this is NOT a sales automation role. Use whatever tools or methodologies that get you to a close, but this is a get out there and connect with Series B through F c-suite, SVP's, and VP's to close the deals, ideally from your existing contact base.
Compensation:
The role offers 1% equity and commission. Salaries will NOT be a part of the compensation at first. As funding becomes available we will make salaries available. That said, the commission will currently be 50% of annual contracts and 30% of month-to-month contracts. This is subject to adjustment as salaries begin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Execution: Achieve ambitious sales targets by effectively engaging with key decision-makers in large organizations, showcasing the unique value of our AI-driven solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of senior executives, delivering solutions that align with their business needs.
- Market Penetration: Strategically target high-potential accounts, leveraging in-depth industry relationship, knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the tech ecosystem.
- Collaboration and Growth: Work closely with our marketing, growth and product teams to refine sales strategies and methodologies, contributing feedback from clients, driving the company's growth and success.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in senior B2B SaaS, Analytics, and/or AI sales, particularly into Series B/C/D funded companies.
- Strong network of contacts among C-level executives, SVPs, and VPs in Series B/C/D/E/F companies, as well as mid to large-sized companies.
- Demonstrated ability to meet substantial sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Driven by startup growth and motivated by significant equity gains.
