The Opportunity:
As Co-Founder and Head of Marketing, Communications and GTM, you will be a results-driven, hands-on, lead from the front marketer that will spearhead all user acquisition efforts to include all messaging, content, SMM, product marketing, sales enablement, and ultimately revenue expansion. This full-time, equity-based position offers the chance to shape a disruptive B2B SaaS startup from the ground up. The compensation for this role is 1-2% equity at this time based on level of experience and hands-on full-tim commitment. Salary compensation anticipated in Q4 2024 as we secure funding.
Key Responsibilities:
B2B SaaS Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to drive growth and user acquisition
- Create and optimize messaging, content, and campaigns tailored to B2B audiences
- Implement data-driven email automation and content strategies
Content and Inbound Marketing:
- Oversee content creation across various channels: short-form content on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts, blogs, white-papers, webinars
- Develop and execute SEO strategy to improve organic visibility and lead generation
- Manage social media marketing posting efforts, with a focus on LinkedIn for B2B engagement
Product Marketing and Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with product team to develop compelling product positioning and messaging
- Create sales enablement materials and support revenue operations
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies
Digital Marketing and Analytics:
- Implement and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
- Leverage analytics tools to measure campaign performance and inform marketing decisions
- Conduct A/B testing and experiments to improve conversion rates and user acquisition
PR and Brand Management:
- Develop and execute PR strategies to increase brand visibility in the B2B SaaS space
- Manage brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints
- Cultivate relationships with industry influencers and media outlets
Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, customer success)
- Present marketing strategies, KPIs, and results to executive team and stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with a focus on early-stage growth
- Proven track record in executing successful B2B marketing strategies
- Strong portfolio showcasing recent B2B SaaS marketing campaigns and results
- Expertise in content marketing, SEO, social media marketing (especially LinkedIn), and email automation
- Experience with marketing analytics tools and data-driven decision making
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities for B2B audiences
- Hands-on experience in product marketing and sales enablement
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS business models and metrics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience marketing AI and/or business intelligence solutions
- Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) strategies
- Background in demand generation and account-based marketing (ABM)
- Experience with PR and media relations in the B2B tech sector
- Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the B2B SaaS marketing landscape and a proven ability to execute growth-driven marketing strategies in early-stage environments. They should be able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution across various marketing disciplines.
