The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Marketing to own and execute high-impact marketing strategy focused on earned growth (no paid channels, for now). This role involves brand-building, communications, multi-channel content creation, and growth marketing designed to attract new users and drive revenue. You’ll collaborate directly with the CEO and other senior leaders, amplifying SQOR.ai’s market presence and establishing our brand as the go-to solution for effortless, AI-driven business intelligence.
This is an equity-based, full-time position (approx. 1% equity, depending on experience), with salary compensation anticipated in Q2 2025 once funding is finalized. The ideal candidate is hands-on, thrives in fast-paced startup environments, and brings a creative, strategic, and data-focused mindset to drive measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth Marketing & Channel Activation
- Design and implement an earned growth strategy spanning social media, content marketing, email campaigns, and community engagement—excluding paid advertising for now.
- Optimize user acquisition funnels and drive steady revenue increases using analytics to make informed decisions.
- Identify emerging channels to expand user reach, boost engagement, and foster a strong community of advocates.
2. Brand, Communications & Content Creation
- Develop a cohesive brand voice that resonates with executives, data teams, and broader business audiences.
- Produce high-quality content for blogs, newsletters, website, webinars, presentations, and social channels—leveraging AI-based tools where beneficial.
- Ensure consistency and excellence in all marketing materials, from pitch decks to white papers, one-pagers, and customer case studies.
3. Social Media & Community Engagement
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Reddit, etc.), actively engaging with industry conversations.
- Plan and execute campaigns (e.g., AMAs, live sessions, Q&As) that drive thought leadership and position SQOR.ai as an industry pioneer.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to ensure social content reinforces product messaging and user adoption.
4. Webinars & Thought Leadership
- Coordinate and host regular webinars, live demos, and virtual events, highlighting customer success, product features, and industry best practices.
- Build relationships with industry influencers, partners, and key stakeholders, expanding SQOR.ai’s visibility through earned media and co-marketing opportunities.
5. Data-Driven Strategy & Collaboration
- Leverage analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, user engagement, and conversion rates, adjusting tactics based on insights.
- Work alongside the CEO, product, and sales teams to refine go-to-market strategies, ensuring marketing efforts directly impact user growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with finance to develop investor-facing materials and executive decks that communicate SQOR.ai’s vision and market potential.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, including growth marketing, content creation, and brand strategy.
- Demonstrated success in driving user and revenue growth through earned media channels (no paid).
- Proficient in content creation (written and visual), with the ability to produce compelling marketing materials and corporate decks.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, comfortable working with C-level executives and senior leadership.
- Experience leading social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong analytics skills, with a data-driven mindset to optimize marketing efforts for ROI.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally (sales, product, finance) and align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with marketing AI solutions in enterprise settings.
- Experience organizing and hosting webinars or virtual events.
- Basic proficiency in video editing or AI-driven content tools.
- Understanding of PLG concepts (helpful but not mandatory).
