Title: Senior Integration & ETL Engineer (SaaS & EDW APIs, Python, Data Pipelines)

Location: Remote | Full-Time

Industry: AI-Driven Business Intelligence | SaaS | Data Analytics

Please Note:

This role is for a hands-on, full-time Senior Integration & ETL Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments. The right candidate will own the end-to-end pipeline for building, debugging, and maintaining direct integrations with third-party SaaS APIs and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) APIs, ensuring we extract the right KPIs at the right time for downstream analysis by our AI.

This is not a Power BI, Tableau, or flat-file ETL role. We are looking for someone who has built production-grade data connectors from scratch, navigated complex authentication protocols (OAuth2, API keys, service accounts), troubleshoots API failures and schema changes, and understands what it takes to reliably extract data from API-driven systems into modern analytics platforms.

You will lead integration development, own reliability and observability, mentor junior engineers, and ensure our data ingestion layer is fast, resilient, and easily extensible.

Your work will be foundational to SQOR’s platform, ensuring high-speed, accurate data ingestion across dozens of third-party tools. You’ll build new connectors, monitor and update existing integrations as APIs evolve, support scheduling and orchestration, and work closely with AI, product, and engineering to ensure that the most critical operational and financial KPIs are always flowing correctly.

• Debug, update, and optimize existing integrations to maintain reliability as third-party APIs evolve

• Extract key KPIs across domains (sales, finance, marketing, product, support)

• Build and scale ETL pipelines with orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc.)

• Ensure clean data ingestion into BigQuery, MongoDB, and vector stores for AI processing

• Maintain observability, alerting, and logs across all API-based data flows

• Mentor and guide junior integration engineers; build internal documentation and best practices

• Collaborate with AI and product teams to ensure availability and integrity of data inputs

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 plus years of experience building and maintaining production-grade API integrations (SaaS and EDW APIs)

• Experience with 10 plus SaaS APIs (REST, GraphQL, rate-limiting, pagination, schema changes)

• Deep knowledge of auth schemes (OAuth2 flows, refresh tokens, HMAC, etc.)

• Expertise in troubleshooting failed jobs, malformed responses, and integration errors

• Strong working knowledge of BigQuery, MongoDB, and GCP or similar cloud environments

• Experience designing resilient pipelines for scale and reliability

• Familiarity with data orchestration platforms like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster

• Strong unit and integration testing practices around API-driven ETL

• Ability to write clean, production-grade Python code with high uptime and fault tolerance

Linux/Unix scripting proficiency (Bash; grep/sed/awk; cron; curl/jq) for automation, observability, and operational tooling.
