NOTE: This role is for a true hunter and closer, with recent success in full-cycle B2B SaaS sales. You will own outbound pipeline generation, run elite-level discovery calls, and close revenue-producing deals. We will support you with enablement and resources, but you must be self-sufficient and comfortable operating in a startup environment where speed, precision, and creativity win. This is not a sales automation role—this is about building real relationships, running consultative discovery, and closing fast-moving deals.

Role Summary:
We are seeking a **Founding Account Executive** who thrives in full-cycle SaaS sales—prospecting, discovery, and closing. This is a hunter/closer role where you will run outbound motions, map buying processes, identify champions, and drive multi-stakeholder alignment.
You’ll be selling into companies with 200+ headcount and revenues from $50M to $1B+, often working directly with C-level executives. Private Equity experience is a major plus, since SQOR.ai delivers unique value for pre-investment due diligence and post-investment monitoring.
This is a unique chance to help shape the GTM motion, sales culture, and playbooks at a fast-growing startup. You’ll work with frameworks like MEDDPICC, Challenger, and our own 8-Step Discovery Blueprint. The cycle on this product is very fast—think weeks, not months—because our AI is plug-and-play and ROI is immediate.
This is a high-upside equity + commission role. Salaries will become available after funding, but for now this is about building wealth through equity and closing revenue.
Compensation:*
Approximately 1% Founder Equity + strong commissions. Salaries expected as revenues and funding grow (late 4th or early 1st quarter). You are joining a team of 20+ elite players already building nearly $30M in pipeline. Our goal is a $100B valuation, with comparisons to companies like Databricks already in the mix—except our solution requires zero data science headcount.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pipeline Generation:** Drive outbound prospecting through calls, email, LinkedIn, and events to build a strong pipeline.
* Discovery & Sales Execution:** Run high-quality discovery calls using MEDDPICC, Challenger, and the 8-Step Discovery Blueprint. Deeply qualify opportunities, quantify pain, and align with impact.
* Full-Cycle Sales: Own the entire process from prospecting → discovery → demo → proposal → close.
* Business Case Development:** Deliver ROI-driven proposals tied directly to customer metrics and outcomes.
* Strategic Selling:** Map buying processes, identify champions, and navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making.
* Feedback Loop:** Provide structured insights to leadership on ICP fit, objections, and sales messaging to shape our GTM strategy.
* Playbook Development:** Help refine and codify sales playbooks that will scale with future hires.
Qualifications:
* Proven success in **full-cycle B2B SaaS sales** (hunting + closing).
* Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Challenger, or similar structured methodologies.
* Strong discovery skills—able to quantify pain, measure impact, and guide prospects with insight.
* RECENT network of C-level, SVP, and VP contacts at mid-market, PE, and growth-stage companies.
* Startup-ready mindset: resourceful, resilient, motivated by upside.
* Exceptional communication and consultative selling ability.
