The Role

This is a HANDS-ON storytelling and content creation role for someone that is seriously detailed oriented.

You will be helping to shape the voice of SQOR.ai across channels, articulate what the pain is and how we take it away. You will explain what the platform does, why it matters, and how it supports better decision-making across modern organizations.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and leadership communication. It requires the ability to take complex ideas and present them clearly, confidently, and credibly to ICPs.

You are not just a writer. You are a visual and strategic communicator who understands how to frame value for CIOs, CFOs, investors, consultants, and operators. You know how to translate technical capability into language that resonates with business leaders and supports real conversations.

You are comfortable operating in fast-moving environments, shipping high-quality materials quickly, and iterating based on feedback. You take pride in creating content that leadership teams can rely on to educate, align, and move discussions forward.

You understand that in today’s landscape, effective storytelling is essential to building trust, clarity, and momentum around a product.

Role Overview

As Director of Product Marketing and Storytelling, you will own how SQOR.ai is communicated across audiences and channels, but especially in sales enablement, web, social.

This role is responsible for shaping clear, consistent deck narratives, site narratives, social media narratives that support go-to-market efforts, product launches, investor communication, and thought leadership.

You will work closely with the CEO and sales teams to ensure messaging accurately reflects the pain being felt in the market and articulate how we solve for that like nobody else does... shining light on platform capabilities.

>>> Day 1, You will create and maintain the core materials that explain our knowledge of the state of BI today and how it is failing companies, and how we will save them from this fate. You will do it for many verticals and speicifc C-suite that we are targeting.

You will:

  • Develop and deliver sales enablement materials
  • Define and maintain messaging frameworks for key audiences
  • Support product launches and announcements with clear, consistent narratives
  • Align content across multiple formats and channels fast
  • Partner with leadership on external communication and presentation materials
  • Ensure alignment of tone, language, and positioning across teams

Compensation

This role offers approximately 1 percent equity, with flexibility for more with the right candidate based on teh quality of their portfolio and experience. All current team members are working full-time for equity as the company scales toward upcoming funding and revenue milestones in late Q1, early Q2. Cash compensation will begin following a successful funding close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product marketing materials including sales decks, one-pagers, narratives, and whitepapers
  • Write and design pitch materials for customers, partners, and investors
  • >> Develop video scripts for product demos, explainers, and customer stories <<
  • Produce and schedule short-form and long-form content across digital channels in collaboration with our in-house motion graphics creative director
  • Maintain messaging consistency across website, sales collateral, and presentations
  • Create internal enablement assets for sales and leadership teams
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to accurately represent platform capabilities
  • Monitor engagement and performance metrics to inform iteration and improvement

Skills and Experience

  • 7 or more years of experience in product marketing, content, or storytelling roles within B2B SaaS
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to clarity and structure
  • Experience creating decks, scripts, and written materials for executive audiences
  • Familiarity with modern content and design tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and leadership teams
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong judgment around tone, consistency, and message alignment
  • Analytical mindset with interest in performance measurement and iteration
