Role Summary

This is a front-line sales role. You have deep relationships within PE funds and their portfolio companies. You can engage deal partners, operating teams, and portfolio company CEOs. You close.

This role is about opening doors at funds, converting interest into urgency, and closing deals that expand across entire portfolios. A path to CRO exists, but it is earned through results.

What You Will Do

  • Source, qualify, and close PE firms and their portfolio companies
  • Leverage existing relationships with partners, operating teams, and portco executives to create pipeline immediately
  • Run live demos and executive-level conversations with fund leadership and portco CEOs
  • Position SQOR as a value creation and oversight platform that scales across multiple assets
  • Close deals ranging from $25K–$250K ACV, with expansion potential across full portfolios
  • Mentor and support a small team of sales reps, helping them sharpen execution and close deals
  • Jump into deals alongside team when a senior presence or PE expertise can accelerate the close
  • Lead by example on the phones, in demos, and in negotiations so the team sees what good looks likeWork directly with the founder to sharpen messaging from real buyer feedback

Ideal Candidate

  • 5–12 years of quota-carrying enterprise or SaaS sales experience
  • Demonstrated success selling into PE firms, operating partners, or portco leadership
  • Established, active network within PE funds and/or their portfolio companies
  • Proven record of personally closing complex, high-trust deals
  • Experience in early-stage environments where you sell without brand power or heavy enablement
  • Energized by pressure, ambiguity, and ownership

Signals You’re a Fit

  • You already know senior decision makers at PE funds or portfolio companies
  • You speak the language of value creation, operational improvement, and diligence without rehearsing it
  • You prefer closing deals to talking about process
  • You want upside tied directly to performance

Compensation

You earn very high commissions on every deal you close, starting day one. The sales cycle is short, the product deploys fast.

You also receive a meaningful ownership stake (approximately 2% of the company). Salaries will begin to layer in as funding and revenues permit (expected Q2 2026), but the current structure is designed to reward closers immediately.

We are a team of 20 A-player executives, all here on equity, many in leadership roles for over two years, building a product with Google credibility behind it. This product just went live in its current state and is resonating with companies. The compensation can happen fast as you put numbers on the board.
