Your Responsibilities:

As the Head of Engineering, you will be instrumental in optimizing and enhancing our existing systems and processes. Here's how you'll make a difference:

• System Analysis (30%):
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing system, including its architecture, technologies, dependencies, and limitations.
• Team Leadership and Sprint Ceremonies (30%):
  • Lead and mentor the engineering team, running sprint ceremonies and fostering effective communication within the team.
• Process Creation and Reporting (20%):
  • Establish streamlined processes for software development, deployment, and testing. Regularly report project status to upper management.
• Deployment Optimization and System Performance (10%):
  • Set up and optimize the deployment process, monitoring and enhancing system performance.
• Security and Testing Optimization (10%):
  • Implement and optimize security measures, develop and maintain unit and integration testing strategies.

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of proven experience in leading and inspiring engineering teams, making strategic decisions, and managing resources effectively.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Angular Js, .NET/C#, MS Sql Server, and Bitbucket to drive the development and optimization of our platform.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Adaptability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changes in the dynamic startup environment.
• Technical proficiency in programming languages, version control systems, project management tools, communication tools, CI/CD tools, and code review tools.
