Our team is expanding! We are looking for a high energy, personable, and passionate person to join the team. This is a full-time position with company-paid medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k with match, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
*This position is a hybrid position, allowing you to work from home 2 shifts a week, once training is complete!*
This position requires you to work 5 shifts/week. They are 8 hours shifts, which include mids, evenings, and weekends (required Sunday coverage). The starting pay is $20/hr.
Position Summary:
The Patient Care Coordinator receives and triages requests for patient services from clients, then schedules our team of mobile clinicians to fulfill the requests. Visits are prioritized according to a variety of factors, including location of the patient; skill level, availability, and current location of field staff; time of day; local traffic conditions; the urgency of request; and priority of customers. Each new request for services must be evaluated in the context of all other outstanding requests to ensure that clinicians are routed efficiently while meeting patient needs.
The PCC will also help with office tasks, such as tidying the office, stocking and maintaining supplies, equipment, and cars. This includes cleaning RPM kits, coordinating car maintenance with our fleet service, restocking supplies, reporting low supplies, and completing broken equipment repair requests.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work at a multiple-monitor computer station with telephone headset
- Triage incoming phone, voicemail, fax and web requests
- Accurately enter information, in real-time, into a web-based system
- Determine current location of patient and available staff
- Create routes for clinicians to follow using a variety of criteria
- Add/update/change routes as new requests come in or conditions change
- Use text messaging to communicate accurate and timely information to field clinicians
- Continuously communicate with customers, primarily via telephone, to gather information, answer questions, and update ETA’s
- Answer general business phone inquiries
- Participate in auditing of procedure notes and other incoming documentation
- Cleaning RPM kits
- Coordinating car maintenance with our fleet service
- Restocking supplies
- Reporting low supplies
- Completing broken equipment repair requests
Required Qualifications:
- Outstanding internet computing skills – browsing, searching, cut/copy/paste, drag-drop, create PDF’s, managing 5-10+ browser tabs
- Experience or ability to learn Mac OS operating system
- Comfortable with Google Maps
- Ability to talk on the phone and type at the same time
- Ability to manage 3 or more tasks simultaneously
- Able to work in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone, text, and email
