Senior Technical Engineer

Company Overview: We are an early-stage, Tech-stars backed startup in the eCommerce logistics space. We are building the returns processing and reselling platform for manufacturers and retailers, starting in the baby goods space. We are a close-knit team of seven working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Role Overview: As the Senior Technical Developer, you will be the lead engineer on staff, responsible for managing, maintaining, and advancing the full tech stack across our front and backends. A key function of this role will be implementing technical solutions to optimize and automate our real-world warehouse processes and operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, product management, and warehouse staff in this role. On a daily basis you will work closely with a product manager responsible for the overall architecture and development of the backend system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create an intuitive interface for the company’s internal operating system to guide warehouse employees through the intake, processing, and inspection of returned goods
• Work closely with a product manager to build automations and integrate tools to help automate and optimize the company’s real-world operations
• Build custom modules and features to enhance functionality, user experience, and customer satisfaction for our Shopify storefront
• Maintain and enhance the integration between front-end (Shopify) and backend (Airtable) ensuring seamless data flow and real-time synchronization
• Develop and maintain web scraping tools as necessary for product listings, competitor analysis, or other relevant business processes
• Ensure that all technical solutions are scalable as the company grows, with a focus on performance, accuracy, and user experience
