Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Unity Developer at str8bat. We are seeking a talented Unity Developer with a strong focus on optimization to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance applications and games that run smoothly across multiple platforms. They will have a deep understanding of Unity's performance optimization techniques and will be able to implement efficient solutions to enhance the overall user experience.. The role involves collaborating with the team to create immersive and engaging gaming experiences for cricket enthusiasts.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize Unity applications and games
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve rendering efficiency, memory usage, and frame rate
• Profile and analyze code to identify areas for optimization, including CPU and GPU performance.
• Implement advanced optimization techniques, such as occlusion culling, level of detail (LOD) systems, and asset bundling
• Optimize shaders and materials to achieve visually stunning results while maintaining optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Unity features and best practices for optimization
• Conduct performance testing and debugging to ensure applications meet performance targets on all supported platforms

Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing and optimizing Unity applications and games
• Strong proficiency in C# programming language
• Expertise in Unity's rendering pipeline and optimization techniques
• Solid understanding of 3D graphics principles, including shaders, lighting, and rendering
• Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools, such as Unity Profiler
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience optimizing applications for mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and job systems in Unity
