Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Executive located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Daily tasks include conducting sales pitches, meeting sales targets, preparing sales reports, and coordinating with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports and technology, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a knack for closing deals. This role is instrumental in expanding Str8bat’s footprint across cricket academies, sports retailers, schools, and directly with athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive B2B and B2C sales of Str8bat products.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop leads, and convert prospects into customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients (academies, coaches, players).
  • Conduct product demos and sales pitches both in-person and virtually.
  • Represent Str8bat at events, tournaments, and trade shows.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align on go-to-market strategies.
  • Track sales activities and provide regular reporting on performance metrics.
  • Gather market feedback and relay it to product teams for improvement

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in the technology or sports industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Knowledge of cricket and a passion for the sport is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
