Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to drive sales and brand presence in your assigned region. You will work closely with dealers and academies to sell the Str8bat cricket bat sensor and other products ensuring a seamless experience for customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Management:
• Visit assigned dealers regularly to promote and sell Str8bat products.
• Provide support with in-store branding and marketing materials.
• Ensure repeat orders and maintain strong dealer relationships.
Marketing Support:
• Organize and execute Bat Speed Challenge events to engage customers.
• Collaborate with influencers to create local buzz.
• Support dealers with marketing initiatives like perimeter branding and promotional campaigns.
Academy Engagement:
• Visit cricket academies for product demonstrations.
• Showcase the value of Str8bat sensors to coaches, players, and parents.
• Drive sales directly at academies through events and workshops.
Market Research & Reporting:
• Understand local market dynamics and customer preferences.
• Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams to improve strategies.
Skills & Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in sports, tech, or related industries.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to plan and execute on-ground events.
• Passion for cricket and understanding of the sport is a plus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
