Work Model : 100% remote

Duration: 10 to 15 days.

About the client.

Our client, a specialty chemicals player, is aiming to deploy an Integrated Remote Operations Center (IROC). It will serve as a central control tower to monitor, supervise, anticipate and optimize the operations. Previous maturity levels have been achieved where the system provides visibility, monitors performance and sends alerts.

The team is aiming to unlock the next maturity level to:

- Anticipate trends

- Manage exceptions: run simulations and proposes scenarios to solve the anomalies

- Remotely control the plant

Objectives

We would like to be supported to identify the following elements :

1) Different use-cases possible in:

- Predictive analytics and anticipating problems

- Simulations, scenarios analysis, suggesting how to solve the problems when they arise/before they arise

- Remote control of the plants

2) Pre-requisites to secure prior to deploying the ROC (sensors, data, network, buildings, etc.)

2) Course of actions to deploy the ROC

3) ROC TOM incl. governance, processes, people & skills, etc

4) Common risk and pitfalls to monitor and anticipate

The ideal expert has knowledge of:

Specialty chemicals, Remote Operations Center (ROC)/Integrated remote operations centers, Operating Model

Functional areas of expertise

- Remote Operations Center (ROC) / Integrated Remote Operations Centers (IROC): Experience in the design, deployment and management of Integrated Remote Operations Centers (IROC)

- Specialty chemicals project management: Experience in the design, planning and supervision of mining & downstream projects.

• - Expertise in Organizational Transformation: Familiarity with the deployment of Target Operating Models (TOMs)
