The Junior Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of Stream’s software, services, and assisting to close sales deals where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs.
This is a full-time job opening based in our Amsterdam office.
Hybrid policy: applicants based in the Netherlands or relocating here, are expected to work in the office in Amsterdam 3 times per week. Exemptions may apply to specific cases.
Relocation and visa sponsorship is possible. Remote in London is also an option.
What will you work on
To be successful as a Junior Sales Engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's technical products and services and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
Job Responsibilities
Preparing and developing technical demonstrations to explain our company's products to prospective and existing upsell customers
Discussing technical needs and requirements with customer product managers, developers, engineers, and stakeholders
Working with the Stream Integration Support team to help Trial customers with their questions and integrations towards success and signup.
Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support
Assisting with prospective customers’ RFPs/RFIs and any corresponding technical requirement documentation
Collaborating with Customer Support to escalate technical issues or blockers for prospective customers during pre-sales integration
Continuously researching Stream’s products and new feature releases to meet customers' technical requirements and needs
Soliciting and logging client feedback to assist Marketing and Product teams in creating new sales strategies to target customers as well as suggesting future new features
Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management
Training members of the sales team on the technical aspects of Stream’s products and offerings as necessary
About You
You have
1-3 years of sales engineer experience
Ability to work autonomously in finding and relaying answers from various teams within Stream
Experience in technical sales and the technology field.
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
Good leadership and team working skills.
Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
Experience using and/or selling API products preferred
