Role: Lead NLP Engineer
Location: Bengaluru (North, Sanjay Nagar)
Reporting to: Senior Management
Type: Full-time and in-office

Job Description

4 to 7 years experience as NLP Engineer
Solid understanding of Python
Experience with NLP technologies & the handling of unstructured text
Detailed understanding of text pre-processing and normalisation techniques such as tokenisation, lemmatisation, stemming, POS tagging etc.
Prior experience in implementation of traditional ML solutions - classification, regression or clustering problem
Expertise in text-analytics - Sentiment Analysis, Entity Extraction, Language modelling - and associated sequence learning models ( RNN, LSTM, GRU )
Comfort in working with deep-learning libraries (PyTorch)
Strong experience in creation, management and consumption of REST APIs leveraging Swagger, Postman, API Gateways etc;
Strong knowledge in data modelling, querying, performance tuning of any big-data stores (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis etc) and /or any RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc)
Think creatively to identify new opportunities and contribute to high quality publications or patents.
Work in a highly collaborative environment with teams to deliver systems from prototyping to production level.
Experience in conducting research and conversion of underlying research methodologies into software solutions
Ability to effectively design software architecture
