We’re looking for a GoLang Backend Developer to help power our AI-driven legal products by building performant APIs, collaborating closely with our Front-End Developer, and bringing strong backend craftsmanship to a mission-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using GoLang.
• Work side-by-side with our Front-End Developer to create seamless, performant, and secure product experiences.
• Translate product requirements into backend infrastructure that supports AI-generated insights.
• Use AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf) to accelerate coding, while applying engineering expertise to validate, refactor, and maintain code quality.
• Optimize systems for low-latency data processing and secure handling of sensitive information.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and documentation.
• Support production systems, deployments, and monitoring infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building production-ready GoLang applications.
• Deep understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to collaborate with front-end developers and product teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD workflows, and modern development practices.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools with the judgment to oversee and improve generated code.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote, fast-paced team.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Python and integrating AI/LLM-based services.
• Experience with serverless architectures, event-driven design, or message queues.
• Exposure to legal tech, health tech, or regulated industries (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2).
• Experience with performance monitoring, observability, and automated testing frameworks.
