📋 Key Responsibilities
1. Product Process Management
- Run recurring product meetings (standups, sprint planning, retros).
- Maintain product calendars, timelines, and milestone tracking.
- Ensure follow-up on action items and deliverables.
2. Specification & Documentation
- Pull insights from customer and sales meetings
- Translate high-level product ideas from the CEO into clear, actionable product specs.
- Write product requirements documents (PRDs) in collaboration with design and engineering.
- Organize and maintain a central source of truth for all product-related documents.
3. Project & Sprint Tracking
- Own tools like Jira to track product progress.
- Monitor velocity, blockers, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the team is aligned and deadlines are met.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the bridge between engineering, design, support, and other teams.
- Ensure clear communication of priorities and timelines.
- Set up workflows for feedback collection from sales, customers, and other stakeholders.
5. Quality Assurance Support
- Coordinate QA/testing cycles and ensure specs are implemented correctly.
- Gather user/stakeholder feedback to close the loop post-release.
6. Metrics & Reporting
- Maintain dashboards or reports showing sprint progress, releases, and KPIs.
- Report regularly to the CEO/founder on execution status.
