At Swym, we are on a mission to help retail brands craft a truly seamless omni-channel experience for their customers. Fueled by an accelerating shift to online retail, we are on an exciting growth path with over 30,000 merchants across 100+ countries using our products. Brands like Staples, Hurley and Tommy John turn to us to help them take their customer experience to the next level.

We are a tight knit team of over 60 that hasn’t lost touch with our roots as a scrappy startup. With the rapid growth we've seen over the last 12 months, we’re looking to double the size of our team over the next 9 months.

We are looking for Support Engineers who are passionate about delighting customers and helping them get the most value from the products we build for them. If the opportunity to work directly with thousands of merchants around the globe and help them craft a better shopping experience for their customers gets you excited, this might be just the role for you.

We think you'd make an ideal candidate if you:

  • Are genuinely happy about helping people. Seriously, if we could only name one trait that defined success in this role, this would be it.

  • Love taking on challenging problems and finding creative solutions to those problems.

  • Have prior experience in handling customer conversations through email and chat desk, and especially in a global context (We are lucky to work with customers from 100+ countries around the world)

  • Have familiarity with HTML, CSS and consider yourself proficient with web applications and technologies

  • You are curious by nature and get excited about learning new things.

  • You are great at executing while maintaining attention to quality.

  • Consider yourself an outstanding communicator. Your command over the English language is excellent (we cater to a global audience) and you are able to put down your thoughts really well.

  • Are passionate about delivering a world-class experience and derive immense pride and satisfaction in helping people succeed.

  • If you are looking for a well-defined, structured role that is prescriptive in terms of yourrole/responsibilities, we are probably not the right fit. We will expect you to come figure stuff out and help define that structure.
  • If you are looking for a relatively easy-going job, this is unlikely to be that. In fact, if this isnot one of the most challenging jobs you've had in your career, we are probably not doing something right.
