Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Healthcare Integration Engineer to lead our efforts in connecting AI-powered communication solutions with existing healthcare infrastructure. You'll ensure seamless integration while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement integrations with healthcare systems (EHR, EMR, Practice Management)
• Develop and maintain HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data standard implementations
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data security across all integrations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand their workflow requirements
• Build and maintain API gateways and data transformation layers
• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical support

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology and integrations
• Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, AllScripts, etc.)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare regulations
• Proficiency in integration technologies and APIs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare industry certifications (RHIA, CHPS, or similar)
• Experience with cloud healthcare platforms (AWS HealthLake, Azure Healthcare APIs)
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and terminology
• Experience with data mapping and transformation tools
