Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with customers to rapidly understand their hardest problems and build solutions against them. Projects often start with an open-ended question: how do we take a high-stakes healthcare workflow that still depends on a specific human and turn it into a reliable production system? Your job is to show up and solve it. This role sits at the intersection of customer delivery and core platform development. You will own discovery, technical scoping, system design, build, and production rollout alongside our most strategic customers — often looking a lot like a startup CTO inside the engagement: whiteboarding architecture, shipping integrations and workflows, debugging live systems, advising operators and executives, and driving strategy with the team, sometimes all in the same day. Success is measured by production adoption, measurable workflow impact, and field feedback that sharpens our product and agent behavior. You embed closely with customer teams, contribute directly in the code when progress depends on it, make trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality, and codify what works into playbooks and building blocks the rest of the company can reuse. Healthcare privacy, reliability, and operational consequence are not afterthoughts; they are part of the engineering job.
