The Role
We’re looking for an experienced People Operations professional to help define the future of Telnyx’s culture and operations. You’ll work alongside Telnyx’s leadership to provide an excellent workplace experience for all team members around the globe. You’ll oversee all aspects of people operations, inclusive of culture, benefits, onboarding, compensation philosophy, learning and development, career progression, retention, and HCM systems. This is an important role, and you’ll be a critical part of navigating our growth.
The ideal candidate has experienced rapid growth startups and is comfortable working both down in the details and up at the strategic level. You have seen the highs and lows of hyper growth companies, and you’ll help Telnyx avoid the pitfalls. You should be comfortable navigating chaos and eager to tackle both the strategic questions (“should we open a satellite office?”) and the minutiae (“is our dental plan competitive?”) of growing a company.
In This Role You Will
- Global entities setup, global all-remote hiring, PEO/EOR setup and management, contractor compliance.
- Own and deliver a best-in-class onboarding program, including guiding the experience from candidate → new hire, ensuring employees have relevant information in a timely manner, hosting for new hires’ first day, training, ensuring accurate employee records/documentation, background checks, employment verification etc.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for all employee questions around the globe; ensure all employees have timely and accurate information relating to people processes, policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Ensure we have clean and up-to-date people data by maintaining employee data in Rippling and other systems, including entering all new hires, making relevant updates for existing employees, managing the termination process, maintaining our company intranet (Guru) and conducting regular audits of people data.
- Maintain utmost confidentiality in all matters relating to employee records and investigations.
- Partner with other team members across the entire organization on special projects (examples: Open Enrollment, Diversity & Inclusion, Performance Management, Learning & Development and Engagement Surveys).
- Educate leadership and the business on areas of risk and proactively solve issues that may arise as we scale.
- Drive company-wide initiatives that increase employee satisfaction and productivity.
You May Be Fit For This Role If You Have
- 3+ years of People Operations experience in a fast-growing tech, international company.
- Global People Operations experience expanding global workforce and hiring remote.
- Strong knowledge and experience in federal and multi-state employment law and compliance practices operations (local, state and federal law).
- Experience with people processes automation.
- Strong analytical and project management skills; proven ability to design and communicate a clear process; detail oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving; strong and sincere empathy for the employee experience.
- Impeccable EQ, judgment and integrity; ability to make sound decisions independently and thrives in ambiguity; the ability to handle sensitive People matters.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management in a clear and persuasive manner.
- People Operations systems experience, particularly with Rippling or similar systems is a plus.
