Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with a freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies worldwide. Testlio is an excellent place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

We are currently looking for freelance software testers from British Columbia to join a massive Usability testing project we are running for one of our clients. Our client is rolling out a software update, and they need to test how their service works in different user scenarios. The project will require Usability testing. It is a short remote gig, perfect for QA beginners looking for extra opportunities.

Requirements

• You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: British Columbia (Canada)
  • The role is 100% remote, but we need you to be located in the mentioned area for testing. VPN is not allowed.
• Specific requirements: We are looking for people with experience applying for grants (education, NGO, environment, etc.).
  • We only need your experience to check details related to the user flow. We don’t need you to apply for any other kinds of grants.
• Devices you will need: any laptop
• Language: English (intermediate or higher)

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Usability
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload: 1 hour per week
• Total hiring: 10 candidates needed
• The compensation for the project is a lump sum of 100 USD.
  • We apologise for any inconvenience with receiving USD payments; since we are a US-based company, all payments are processed in USD. Usually, our testers don’t have any issues converting USD to the local currency afterwards, but you might want to check with your bank to see if you expect any difficulties.
