Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

Currently, we are looking for freelance software testers based in Canada to join us in testing the Etsy website, a globally known marketplace for all things DIY. Each tester in the project will be asked to use his or her own payment method to make small payments on a sandbox environment of the Etsy website, in order to validate the UI response. Once testing is done, all costs will be reimbursed.

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.
• Location: Canada. The use of VPNs is prohibited for this project, so you must be physically located anywhere in Canada.
• Payment methods: You must have a credit card issues in Canada, but the currency on the card should be non-CAD.
  • We are testing a specific scenario where a card’s currency is non-CAD. Your credit Card will not be eligible if it does not meet this requirement, even if you are able to make transactions with other currencies with it.
• Availability: This is a one time project, but on our website you can join other project to continue building up your portfolio.
• Language: English (intermediate or higher).
• Devices: Any desktop and/or mobile device.
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Payment testing
• Reimbursement: Reimbursements will be paid out alongside your weekly payout.
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Workload: Test runs are weekly and will be up to two hours.
• Pay rate: The pay rate for this is $18 USD / hr.
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
