Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in the US, particularly Maryland and Maine to join us in testing our client’s app, a known mobile fashion marketplace. For this project, you will test the app through two scenario cases: acting as a seller and as a buyer, in order to validate different payment flows as part of a purchase. You’ll be given the funds to make the purchase.

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.
• Location: Maryland and Maine.
• Availability: As soon as possible. We estimate that the testing task itself will take two hours.
• Devices: macOS, Windows, iOS, or Android device.
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow.
  • You will be asked to take 2 preparatory courses on our platform to ensure you are ready for testing. One will cover Payments testing guidelines, the other will hep introduce you to our platform and how it works.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Payment and functional testing
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Workload: One-time testing opportunity taking approximately two hours. We hope that in the future we will organize more testing tasks for this workspace.
• Pay rate: The pay rate for this is $18
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
