Freelance Software Tester (Airport Testing, United States)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.
At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in the United States to join us testing out our client’s airport mapping technology, this project is being run by Uber, a globally known ride sharing app.
You’ll explore arrival routes from outside security to the rideshare area to test map functionality.
To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements
- Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.
- Location: Must be physically available to test during November in one of these airports: San Diego International Airport, Tampa International Airport, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, Salt Lake City International Airport, Austin–Bergstrom International Airport, Nashville International Airport, Miami International Airport, Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
- Availability: One day, anticipate a minimum of 8-10 hours.
- Devices:
- iOS device with iOS 18 and higher or Android device with Android 15 or higher.
- Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow.
- We have a preparatory course that will teach you more about how to test on our website.
What does testing look like?
- Type of work: short-term, freelance.
- Workload: One time testing, 8-10 hrs
- Pay rate: The pay rate for this is 18 USD/hr. Beyond the task testing time itself (anticipate a minimum of 8-10 hours), we will be compensating you for: the cost to get to/from airport and per diem (daily expense) for meals and incidentals
- Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
- We will send you the USD amount, which you can then transfer/convert to EUR if it is more convenient to you.
